Brief description of the Convent / Institution

The newly constructed formation house is occupied by 25 first-year novices. The old farm house, JMJ Convent where the Postulants were using is now vacant but using for some group activities, learning some musical instruments and for the storage.

Mission of the Convent/ Institution

Province thought of running a school but it could not get permission from the city planner, Bhopal Municipal Corporation. The land is recorded as Amod Pramod / Recreational in the existing master plan of the Madhya Pradesh Town & Country Planning. After several years of our existence, the Province decided to have the Postulancy, the Formation House here from 2015. Soon after this, the new construction took place for the new Novitiate building which was opened on the 15^th of June 2017. This house is named as Gyanjyothi, a formation house. The decision had taken from the Congregation to have a Combined Formation House for the first year Novices of all the 4 Provinces from the 1^st of August 2019.
