EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS
The Special School has classes 1 to 10th with students’ strength of 180 for this academic year. All the staff working both in Special School and College of Education are trained Special D.Ed., B.Ed. and M.Ed.
COMPUTER EDUCATION
We also have a Computer Lab. Both Deaf children and JMJ EM School children have regular Computer Education.
TRICYCLES THE PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED PEOPLE
Our School was the center for the distribution of Tricycles to the Physically Handicapped people both men and women on 3rd January 2019 for which occasion we had the honor of having the august presence of the honorable Nandyal MP Sri.SPY Reddy who sponsored a major amount of the expenditure of procuring nearly 174 cycles, the District Collector Sri. Satyanarayana and Sri.K. Bhaskar Reddy Assistant Director Disabled Welfare and Senior Citizens, Kurnool.
JMJ NAVAJEEVAN EM SCHOOL
JMJ Navajeevan EM School has classes Nursery to 6th with 210 children. It was started in 2015 – 2016 academic year converting the existing child care programme which was meant for non-formal education of children working in the cotton fields. Out of 210 students, 50 are in the Child-Care programme who are getting free boarding and education as they have sponsorship. Due to competition among the schools to have sufficient strength our school is slowly progressing.
TAILORING CENTRE
Every year 10 to 12 School and College dropout girls are Free Tailoring Course and one Sewing Machine at the end of the course along with Free Boarding and Lodging. So far after we have taken 120 girls got the training. Besides our Special School children are also given Vocational Training in Tailoring separately both for boys and girls.
B.Ed. SPL.Ed.HI DISTANCE MODE
Out of 49 seats allotted as per the Dr.B.R.Ambedkar norms, 49 teacher trainees have joined. So far 2 Contact Programmes of 6 days duration each have been completed. As the students from far and wide, that is from Nizamabad district in Telangana to Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh including all 35 Districts of both States. They are provided food and accommodation facilities along with the teaching classes with good library materials which they are very much satisfied.
