CONGREGATION JMJ HYDERABAD PROVINCE
“ALL OF LIFE IS ADVENT
All too often, December finds many of us racing into the celebratory mood of Christmas, without a thought of Advent, that preparatory season of light penance and prayer. “Advent is a time of being deeply shaken, so that we will wake up to ourselves…. Perhaps what we modern people need most is to be genuinely shaken, so that where life is grounded, we would feel its stability; and where life is unstable and uncertain, immoral and unprincipled, we would know that, also, and endure it… perhaps that is the ultimate answer to the question of why God has sent us into this time. God loves you. But in the ups and downs of life, it’s easy to forget that. That’s why Jesus invites you: Come. Look deeper. Re-encounter your own goodness. Receive the Love that frees you to live in the truth of who you are.
Advent invites us to ponder the habits of our heart that we need to embrace or abandon, to live and
respond wholeheartedly as Religious today in our communities, church and world. More, and on a deeper level than before, we really know this time that all of life is Advent.”
Welcome to Sr. Divya Joseph to the JMJ Hyderabad Province

Entrance to Postulency
“LORD YOU CALLED ME. I AM HERE TO BE YOURS FOREVER”.
On July 26th five of our Pre – Postulants- Bhagya Rani, Dhana Thejaswini, Jyothi, Pravalika and Sirisha entered the Postulency with receiving of the medal during the Holy Eucharist officiated by Fr. Y M Joseph in our Provincialate chapel. Their conviction towards divine call and their stay with us for last the one year as aspirants had increased their inner attraction to Religious life in the Congregation of JMJ. Our hearts were filled with sentiments of gratitude as we saw them grow this year with much attraction to life in JMJ and a desire for prayer and spiritual growth. We keep them in our Prayers as they pursue their Postulency in Goa.
First profession
With immense joy & deep sense of gratitude in our hearts, we the members of the Congregation of Jesus Mary Joseph thank the Almighty God for seven vibrant second-year novices who made their Temporary Profession on 27th July 2019 at JMJ Gyan Jyothi Formation House, Lalghati, Bhopal. The main celebrant was Most Rev. Leo Cornelio SVD, Archbishop of Bhopal, who graciously consented to celebrate the Eucharistic banquet of love and beseeched the abundant blessings of the Lord. And Rev. Sr. Mukta Xess JMJ, the Provincial Superior of Hyderabad Province accepted their vows. There were nearly 30 Priests, 35 sisters and few religious brothers and well wishes who joined the celebration and implored heavenly blessings upon our new Brides. Certainly it was a memorable day for our newly professed sisters Bimla, Divya, Madhuri, Mamatha, Nitya, Priya and Sushikala who filled with the fire of the Holy Spirit zealously and joyously offered their lives to the Lord their Master in love and service.
Thus, we the members of JMJ Gyan Jyothi acknowledge and render our sincere gratitude to Most Rev. Leo Cornelio SVD and all those who were present for the celebration.
With prayerful regards
Sr. Philomena Sankuri JMJ
